What will you do?

The Global Mobility Advisor is responsible in providing specialised subject matter advice, and support in the delivery of operational excellence in Mobility services. The role will act as the first point of contact within Global Mobility, and manage the dayto-day mobility activities, and ensure successful international assignments and relocation experiences, while effectively managing risks and costs.

Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

Advisory

  • Consultation & subject matter expertise advice to internal stakeholders, on potential and current Mobility activity, including policy interpretation, application and documentation.
  • Communicate with internal customers regarding all GM standards and legalisation updates, to ensure understanding and compliance, recommend enhancements, improvements and simplification of existing processes and procedures based on feedback.
  • Assist Global Mobility Manager in overseeing process implementation.
  • Identifying Process improvements/simplification of process/templates, etc.
  • Advocate Aurecon’s Global Mobility Framework and Policies

Mobility Management

  • Review nomination agreements for completeness & accuracy and send to Global Mobility Specialist for cost estimate preparation.
  • Review and send cost estimate to People Consultant and Team Leader
  • Ensures that all approvals in line with the Delegation of Authority are obtained
  • Quality Assurance of Mobility letters (Initial reviewer of Mobility letters before sending to Team Leader and People Consultant)
  • Review Working Holiday Applications for completeness & accuracy in Workday
  • Prepare & collect Visa requirements for visa eligibility assessment

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies throughout the mobility lifecycle
  • Auditing compliance across Mobility policy and processes, including (but not limited to):
  • Audit of service delivery on relocation provisions  Audit and coordination of visa and assignment end dates
  • Audit and coordination of insurance

Mobility Collaterals

  • Manage the Aurecon Intranet Mobility pages ensuring that they are up to date
  • Ensure collateral and information from vendors and internal work instructions are keep up to date

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies throughout the mobility lifecycle
  • Auditing compliance across Mobility policy and processes, including (but not limited to):
  • Audit of service delivery on relocation provisions  Audit and coordination of visa and assignment end dates
  • Audit and coordination of insurance

Mobility Collaterals

  • Manage the Aurecon Intranet Mobility pages ensuring that they are up to date
  • Ensure collateral and information from vendors and internal work instructions are keep up to date

Shared Services Requirements

  • Establish a culture of flexibility and adaptability to varying shift requirements and operation hours in order to fulfil real time business requirements
  • Demonstrate an understanding of confidentiality requirements relating to People activities and ensure the teams compliance of these requirements

  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, able to prioritise competing demands, and a clear understanding of risk and when to escalate issues to achieve positive outcomes.
  • A sound understanding of broader mobility considerations such as immigration, tax, social security, employment taxes and employment law, across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Evidence managing global mobility activities for domestic and international transfers, assignments, and assignment management issues in a large and complex organisation.
  • Manage, maintain, and build relationships with internal stakeholders, and external vendor partners.
  • Demonstrate an interest in Global Mobility industry, with a specialisation focus on either immigration, relocation or taxation.
  • Maintain active knowledge of the Global Mobility industry trends to ensure a high-quality service.
  • Excellent English written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Good level of numeracy and data skills.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills with the proven ability to influence and effectively engage with a range of critical and diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and action-oriented with a strong desire to create positive outcomes for others.
  • Well-developed execution skills: strong planning and organisational skills, outstanding attention to detail and takes the initiative to make things happen.
  • Applying business analytics to drive outcomes.
  • Ability to work within a matrix structure, including the ability to manage competing demands and stakeholders.
  • Displays confidentiality and integrity at all times.
  • A continuous improvement mindset for driving and managing change.
  • Ability to read and understand direction of company and align services accordingly.

  • University degree in HR or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Workday or similar HRIS experience
  • A background in International Mobility and/or HR would be an advantage
