Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator with a strong engineering background and significant experience in Project Management within the Australian mining and resource sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing contract and project deliverables, from tender through to project closeout, and advanced scheduling capabilities using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Monitor project timelines, ensuring key milestones are achieved.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors, facilitating smooth communication and project delivery.
  • Track and manage project expenses and budgets, delivering weekly updates to the Project Manager.
  • Oversee compliance with company policies, procedures, and ANZ building codes.
  • Support document control and handle various project-related administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate travel and logistics for FIFO employees, ensuring all training, medicals, and inductions are up to date.
  • Manage workforce scheduling and ensure smooth mob and de-mob processes.
  • Assist with obtaining required documentation, statutory approvals, and ensuring quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management or engineering, particularly in the mining and resource sector.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and experience with document management systems such as SharePoint and Procore.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a deep understanding of the built environment and ANZ building codes.
  • Immediate start required.
