About the Role:

Setting up the software correctly and debugging why the software did something. The role will occasionally require building small scripts using JS.

Working Arrangement: Permanent Remote

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday. 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM

About the Job

  • Meeting with clients and catering to their issues.
  • Attend to customer issues:
  • Troubleshooting, investigation, bug checking, replication of issues.
  • Communicate and inform customers on the details, status, and progress of the issue.
  • Communicate with the Dev team for bugs and log it into Jira.
  • Review Mercury Gate TMS to better fit the support to its Final Mile product.
  • Training customers in best practices with system usage.
  • Create training documents for Driver App and Web App of MG Final Mile.
  • Configurations: driver profile, user profile, and setting the level of access required.
  • Setting up the customer environment before the go-live.
  • Creates Project documentation
  • Participating in Project Meetings like (kick-off, project frame, lessons learned)

Your Qualification

  • Deep knowledge of transportation and logistics business processes
  • Relevant experience with Final Mile
  • Relevant background with Bash Commands and scripting (Phyton, Java)
  • Experience in checking logs in the system (we use Putty and SQL Developer database
  • Knowledge of Unix/CLI commands, experience with software/website development, SQL/MS Access/Database knowledge
  • Experience with transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP, AS2, API)
  • Experience with mapping software
  • AWS concepts, fundamental AWS services, Web application concepts
  • Jira, Confluence, Salesforce
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, partners, and consultants.
  • Prior experience diagnosing system process issues – gap analysis
  • Experienced in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions
  • Strong communicator, able to influence and collaborate at all levels to maximize problem resolution while effectively presenting information and responding to highly specialized technical questions
