About this role
As an Intermediate Bookkeeper, you must thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment and possess advanced bookkeeping knowledge. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining our financial records accurately, guiding the team towards success, and contributing to the overall growth of our organization including comprehensive support to our Australian Accounting Firm client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Xero Bookkeeping Services: Deliver comprehensive Xero bookkeeping solutions, encompassing general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and adept management of accounts payable and receivable.
- Payroll Processing: Utilize Xero Payroll to efficiently process clients' payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various teams to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, fostering a cohesive and aligned approach.
- Query Resolution: Address inquiries promptly, utilizing your expertise to provide accurate solutions, and escalating issues when necessary to uphold timely and precise responses to the Australia team.
- BAS Preparation: Take the lead in preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS), contributing to regulatory compliance and reinforcing the organization's financial foundation.
About you
- Ideal some form of Bookkeeping qualification
- Attention to detail.
- Clear communication in English, both written and verbal
- AU experience with businesses for 2+ years
- Have experience completing BAS lodgments (BK and BSA)
- Experience doing end of year tax lodgments (BSA)
- Proficiency working with Xero, Xero Payroll and knowledge of other accounting software tools
