The role

We are looking for a Vendor Relations Specialist that will support our US-based client by way of sourcing

technicians, negotiating contracts, and maintaining lasting business-to-business relationships with trade

vendors for a maintenance and facilities management-oriented business.

Additional Details

  • Salary Range: PHP 30,000 - 35,000 Total package
  • This role is an onsite role at our Alabang location
  • Work schedule: Fixed Mondays to Fridays from 9 PM to 6 AM Manila Time

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sourcing, recruiting, and vetting vendors and technicians across industries – particularly in HVAC,
  • electrical contracting, plumbing, and other similar trades
  • Conducting phone calls throughout the day, such as cold calls, assessing compliance, and vendor
  • interviewing
  • Managing the flow of potential technicians through the onboarding process
  • Maintaining relationships and favorable contracts with current and potential vendors
  • Handling incoming vendor calls, inquiries, and emails
  • Managing the on-boarding process by obtaining the appropriate insurance, contracts, and other
  • related paperwork to ensure the vendor meets the required compliance standards
  • Negotiating subcontractor agreements and pricing
  • Taking ownership and managing subcontractor relationships
  • Ensuring subcontractor compliance to agreed terms and conditions, company policies, and
  • standards on a continuous basis
  • Facilitating regular communication with subcontractors to ensure that key performance indicators
  • are achieved and maintained
  • Resolving subcontractor account disputes

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven voice and non-voice BPO customer service experience
  • Superior English communication skills to collaborate with both an on and offshore team
  • A strong ability to coordinate multiple projects with the ability to meet deadlines and ensure effective
  • communication across all team members
  • Outstanding email correspondence and phone etiquette with the ability to engage stakeholders, and
  • team members without a script

Desirable Qualifications

  • A flexible and personable attitude with the ability to confidently manage deals in a business-to-
  • business setting
  • The ability to exercise flexibility, initiative, and good judgment
  • Relevant experience in vendor/contractor relations is a plus but not required
  • Prior exposure to different CRM platforms is a plus but not required
