We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented video editor to help create Facebook video ads ranging from 3 to 15 minutes in length. This is an ongoing, casual position, where some weeks will require minor edits and testing, and others may require 5-10 new videos to be created, depending on campaign needs.

Please note we will be using veed.io as the primary video editing platform.

Responsibilities:

• Edit video ads to align with scripts provided, ensuring engaging visual storytelling.
• Add stock footage and eye-catching imagery to match the hooks of the video and key points in the script.
• Sync video clips and sound effects with the voiceover and hooks to maximize audience retention.
• Ensure subtitles are accurately synced with the voiceover including any and all spelling and grammar corrections (voiceovers will be provided to auto-generate subtitles from).
• Use VEED.io as the primary video editing platform.

Important Notes:

• We will provide all scripts for the videos. There will be no need for any copywriting or script creation.
• A professional voiceover will also be provided for each script. You will be responsible for uploading the voiceover to VEED.io and syncing it with the video (we will provide the VEED.io pro account)
• You must ensure that subtitles are 100?curate and properly aligned with the video. Although VEED.io uses AI to sync subtitles, it’s your responsibility to correct any errors in syncing plus proof-read and correct any spelling/grammar mistakes for all subtitles.
• All ads will be in English, so proficiency in English, both reading and writing, is crucial.
• We will provide some video content (usually product related visuals), however it will be up to you to to add in relevant and matching stock videos from Veed to compliment the narrative of the script.

Requirements:

• Proficiency with VEED.io or similar video editing software.
• Experience editing long-form video ads (3 to 15 minutes) for Facebook .
• Strong eye for engaging visuals and attention to detail in syncing subtitles and sound.
• Ability to add relevant stock videos, sound effects, and imagery to boost engagement.
• Proficiency in English is essential to ensure accuracy in subtitles and understanding the script.

Application Requirements:

• Submit examples of previous work that demonstrate your experience in video editing, particularly with Facebook ads or similar formats.
• Provide an overview of your experience creating similar style videos.
