Duties include but not limited to:
- Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions
- Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries
- Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements
- Lead internal audit engagements
- Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors
- Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements
- Secures financial information by completing database backups
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and with four years of experience in finance or accounting
- General knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles
- Experience in the entire accounting process from recording of AR, AP, GL, journal entries, trial balances, financial statements, and month-end close
- Must have knowledge and experience in using NetSuite or QuickBooks Online
- Extensive knowledge of revenue recognition U.S. GAAP is a plus
- Experience developing financial reports and metrics
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment
- Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
- Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture
- Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization
- Strong organizational and time management skills
System requirements:
- Computer Processor: At least i3 6th generation for both primary and back up computers
- Computer Memory/RAM: At least 8.00 GB for both primary and back up computers
- Computer OS: Windows 10 and above
- Internet speed must be running on a 20+ Mbps wired plan (at least 5 Mbps for back up connection)
