Hey! My name is MacKenzie! I am the founder of DecoGro, a startup software company in Atlanta, GA, USA. Our software helps screen printers, embroiderers, and apparel manufacturers manage their orders and production.
As part of our go to market plan, I am looking to add someone to our team that can own the entire content process from strategy to execution. Right now, we have zero content. So, we need someone who has the desire and experience to get our content off the ground with the end goal of driving inbound traffic and building brand awareness and authority.
We are a team of high achievers on a mission to build the best software platform in our industry. Our content needs to match the energy, passion, and standard of excellence that we put into the platform. This role is for someone that really wants to take content to the next level and be proud of their output.
We plan to take an omnichannel approach so you should excel at written, audio, video, and visual content. Although we understand we can’t go all in on every channel on day 1, we do expect to push our output and quickly expand our online presence. Here is a list of some ideas and channels that we would like to pursue:

This position requires collaboration with our team as we strategize, create, and review content together, but also the ability to be a self starter and autonomous in the role. You need to be a good team player and still get things done on your own.
Since we operate in a niche industry, we do expect that it will take some time to learn the ends and outs of the industry in order to be knowledgeable about the content. But we want this to be a learn as you go role so that you can both create great content and learn about the industry as you go!
Our expectations are high for this role, and we will invest heavily in the right person. You can expect us to give you everything you need to succeed including investing into software, tools, and expanding the team as necessary to continue growth. Our team believes in leveraging tech and AI to do our jobs better and more efficiently. You should have a strong desire to learn and utilize new tools and constantly improve. We provide a supportive environment and our team will have your back to make sure you can perform your best!
Hours are flexible, but I typically work from 9AM-6PM EST.
