About the position:

As a Business Reporting & Analysis Specialist, you will work closely with our sales team to provide regular performance overviews to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to generate accurate and timely reports based on agreed-upon content, ensuring that our customers have the information they need to make informed decisions and support our business growth.

Key Tasks

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer reporting requirements and develop comprehensive reporting templates.
  • Gather and analyze data from various sources to generate accurate and insightful reports.
  • Ensure that reports are generated in a timely manner, adhering to agreed-upon deadlines and formats.
  • Conduct regular reviews of report content and design to ensure that it remains relevant and useful for our customers.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices related to customer reporting, and proactively identify opportunities to improve our reporting processes and procedures.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and collaborate with other departments as needed to ensure the successful delivery of customer reports.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive customer information.
  • Utilize data visualization tool to present complex information in an easy-to-understand format.
  • New projects lead and support.
  • Provide regular updates and recommendations to business partners or management teams on KPI and other relevant metrics.
  • Other tasks assigned by line manager.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Basic knowledge in international air and sea freight forwarding business.
  • Able to plan work and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure to cope with periods of high workload and tight timelines.
  • Willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines when required.

Educational Background / Work Experience

  • University / bachelor’s degree or above
  • 2+ years’ work experience preferred in customer reporting, data analysis, or a related role in logistics forwarding industry.

Language Skills

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Other languages (written and spoken) beneficial.

Computer Literacy

  • Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Excel – advanced skills
  • Power BI experience preferred.
  • VBA knowledge preferred

Decision making authority

  • Decision authority as delegated by the direct manager in accordance with Hellmann regulations.
