ABOUT YOU:

As an Associate Website Designer at Tribute Technology, your primary responsibility is to collaborate closely with project coordinators to translate project requirements into visually compelling and user-friendly website designs. You will focus on creating website layouts, navigation structures, and visual elements that align with Tribute Technology’s design standards and project goals, ensuring a seamless user experience for funeral home clients and their communities. Your responsibilities include creating mockups and staged sites that follows best practices in UX/UI design.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Work closely and communicate with project coordinators to understand project requirements, timelines, and objectives, ensuring designs meet project goals and client expectations.
• Create website layouts, navigation structures, and visual elements following UI/UX best practices and aligns with Tribute Technology’s design standards and project specifications within our proprietary, website-builder software.
• Contribute creative ideas and innovative design solutions to enhance Tribute Technology’s product offerings.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and collaborate with the team to develop new design concepts.
• Stay proactive in suggesting improvements to existing designs and processes.
• Conduct thorough review of website designs to ensure they function correctly across various devices and browsers.
• Identify, troubleshoot and fix any design-related technical problems.
  
  
  

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Keen attention to detail to ensure all website design aspects are thoroughly implemented and executed to high standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams, facilitating clear and proficient information exchange.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to identify, address, and resolve design-related issues promptly.
• Familiarity with web development processes and technologies, UI/UX design, SEO, Adobe Suite.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various teams, fostering a cooperative and productive working environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of Associate Degree in Graphic and Web Design, Web Programming, Internet Marketing or 2 years of related work experience in website design, support, and production including a basic understanding of code (HTML and CSS), UI/UX design principles and SEO.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite particularly Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience with web-based technology.
• Excellent English Proficiency.
• Proven ability to learn new processes and systems quickly.
• Basic understanding of what constitutes clean website design.
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices
• Prior experience with Atlassian Jira is a plus.
