The position is mainly responsible for overseeing the seamless operation, maintenance, and enhancement of the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring that systems run efficiently and securely to support business operations. By driving infrastructure optimization, the position plays a significant role in enhancing operational efficiency, reducing downtime, and minimizing risks that could impact service delivery.

Additionally, the role focuses on aligning technology strategies with the company’s overall business goals. This involves staying ahead of emerging trends and technological advancements to ensure Stradcom’s infrastructure remains competitive and future-proof. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the IT operations team, the position helps in delivering cost-effective solutions that not only maintain high performance and security standards but also contribute to the company’s long-term sustainability and profitability.

Requirements:

  • College graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/ Computer Engineering or any Business or IT related courses
  • IT Certifications are highly preferred
  • Must have at least 20 years of work experience in the IT field; 10 years as a leader;
  • Has an extensive work experience relating to at least two (2) of the following: Cloud Infrastructure, Information Security/Cyber Security, System Administration, Database Administration, and Network Administration.
  • Should have held an executive role (at least AVP level) for a minimum of three (3) years in IT Infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, resolve conflicts, and drive strategic initiatives in a fast-paced IT environment;
  • In-depth knowledge of IT Infrastructure technology and operational challenges: Expertise in network design, data center architecture, cloud infrastructure, hardware/software integration, system security, virtualization, and disaster recovery planning; and,
  • System Design & Data Architecture: Familiarity with designing scalable IT infrastructures, optimizing data storage solutions, and implementing data redundancy and backup strategies.
