This is a remote position.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to manage all accounting activities at the dealership level. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERA) and MS Office Suite, with a strong understanding of the automotive industry. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, providing administrative support to the finance team, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, along with relevant certifications, is preferred.

Desirable Education:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA) are advantageous.
Experience in Accounting software – ERA ( Enterprise Resource Application ) is a plus

Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Process invoices, receipts, and payments.
Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and filed.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of invoices.
Handle accounts receivable, tracking payments due and ensuring timely collection.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.

Bank Reconciliation:
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and company records.

Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.
Assist in the preparation of financial documents for audits.
Maintain office supplies for the finance department.

Compliance and Audits:
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Assist with internal and external audits.

Requirements
Proven experience as an Accountant
Experience in Pentana
Proficient in MS Excel
Experience with ERA system used in the automotive industry is a plus.
Understanding of the automotive industry, including common financial practices and challenges.
Awareness of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
