  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.

About the role

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a product is meeting quality requirements before its launch. The ideal candidate will do this by monitoring every stage of the product development process and suggesting corrections that range from basic product necessities to feature improvements and optimizations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, document, and implement automated test cases to ensure product quality.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze the results to identify issues and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain robust test automation scripts, focusing on both UI and API testing.
  • Collaborate with clients to address challenges and enhance product quality.
  • Utilize tools for test planning and management to streamline the QA process.
  • Ensure that quality requirements are met at all stages of product development.
  • Act as the quality guardian within the team and throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required in line with your main duties.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience with BDD tools, such as Cucumber or similar.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience with SpecFlow for API testing or any other API testing tool.
  • Proficiency in WebDriver.IO for UI testing.
  • Experience in version control using Git.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Experience with test management tools, such as Jira and XRay.
  • Proficiency in programming languages relevant to test automation, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Strong ability to write automation scripts and create automated test suites.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams with developers and stakeholders, communicating in English.

Differentials

  • Ability to troubleshoot issues by analyzing logs and metrics.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes logging mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with frontend technologies such as Angular, React, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., CTFL).
  • Experience with performance and load testing.
  • Familiarity with application monitoring tools (e.g., Elastic, Grafana, Datadog).
  • Experience with Jenkins or other continuous integration tools.

Nice to Have

  • Candidates with experience working at Japanese IT companies or engaging with Japanese clients and customers.

  • Salary Offered: Commensurate with experience

  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home)
  • Work Location: Quezon City
  • Shift Schedule: Day Shift (9:00AM - 6:00PM); 9 hours a day, 5 days a week
