The Business Development Representative will play a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, potential clients, and market opportunities thru research, networking, and attending industry events and conferences
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and expand market reach
- Drive sales and revenue growth by developing and executing sales plans to achieve targets and objectives
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting, pitching, negotiating, to closing
- Establish and nurture strong relationship with clients and key stakeholders
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and other teams to align business development strategies with company goals
- Provide feedback and insights to improve products and services based on client interactions
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
Requirements
- 5+ years or proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role
- Knowledge in VoIP and Telecommunications - a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, together with excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Ability to understand customer pain points, requirements, and correlating business to the value that can be provided by CommPeak
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
