The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for managing and maintaining global IT infrastructure, including Cloud Solutions, Systems, Servers, Firewalls, VPNs, Switches, and Network Security. This role ensures that both cloud and on-premise environments are secure, scalable, and aligned with the organization’s needs. The engineer will collaborate with IT stakeholders to support business-critical applications and ensure the smooth operation of the company’s infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, among others), ensuring high performance and security.
- Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and collaborate with service providers for continuous improvement.
- Configure and maintain global networks, ensuring stable connectivity and network security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues while optimizing performance and security protocols.
- Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for cloud, network, hardware, and software issues.
- Monitor and document infrastructure performance, addressing potential issues proactively.
- Respond to unplanned infrastructure events and implement disaster recovery plans.
- Other related tasks assigned
- Willing to work on-site, night shift
- Open to Tier 1 to Tier 3 positions
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years in infrastructure engineer role.
- Proficient in M365 products and services, Azure Cloud experience, including Entra ID.
- Skilled in network and server administration, security and compliance policies, and incident response.
- Preferred certifications include Cisco, Microsoft Cloud Solutions, and ITIL.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
