In general, the IT Manager will provide over-all leadership in overseeing the organization-wide systems and information infrastructure.
More Specifically, The IT Manager Shall
- Handle the regular checks on network and data security.
- Identify and acts on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.
- Manage end-to-end software development process for any new applications or change to existing systems.
- Develop and implement IT policy and best practice guides for the organization.
- Design training programs and workshops for IT personnel and users in general.
- Conduct regular system audits.
- Run and share regular operation system reports with senior staff.
- Oversee and determine timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.
- Manage and report on allocation of IT budget.
- Provide direction for IT team members.
- Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or equivalents.
- Previous experience and expertise in the following are also expected:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience at the mid-managerial level and supervising both development and infrastructure team of a medium size company
- Solid experience in project management and IT operation support
- Knowledge in IT project management models and software development life cycle (SDLC) would be an advantage
- Experience and maturity with the ability to communicate ideas, standards and policies with confidence
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
