We are seeking a highly organized professional to serve in a dual role as Bookkeeper and Personal Assistant. The ideal candidate will combine strong financial expertise with exceptional administrative and creative skills. This role requires proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks, understanding of UK GAAP, alongside the ability to manage various personal assistant duties including digital content creation and social media management.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Duties (60% of role)

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and manage cash flow statements
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Manage complete accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with UK GAAP
- Develop and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets for financial analysis and reporting
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and tax requirements
- Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting
- Support tax preparation and audit processes

Personal Assistant Duties (40% of role)

Administrative Support
- Manage calendar and schedule appointments
- Handle correspondence and email s
- Organize meetings and take minutes
- Arrange travel and accommodation when required
- Maintain filing systems and organize documents
- Coordinate with various stakeholders and tea m me mbers
- Process expense reports and manage receipts

Digital Content & Social Media
- Manage the MD’s and company's social media presence as directed
- Create and design professional presentations
- Prepare visually appealing reports and documents
- Design engaging marketing materials and infographics
- Update and maintain digital content
- Schedule and publish social media posts
- Monitor social media engagement
- Maintain brand consistency across materials

Required Skills and Experience

Essential Skills
- Proven bookkeeping experience (minimum 3 years)
- Strong knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks
- Understanding of UK GAAP
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Experience with social media management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality

Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Expert knowledge of QuickBooks
- Experience with social media platforms
- Proficiency in basic graphic design software
- Understanding of data privacy and security practices

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., AAT, ACCA) preferred
- Relevant experience as a Personal Assistant
- Experience in digital content creation and social media management

Work Schedule
- Full-time position (40 hours per week)
- Split business hours between BST and PST
- Flexibility required for occasional urgent tasks
- Remote working so requirement for high speed internet
