The Opportunity
The Senior Accountant for Corporate Accounting Support (CAS) is responsible for maintaining accounts and records in various general accounting functions and performing complex accounting activities. This involves collecting and analyzing financial data, preparing, and posting journal entries to the general ledger, and performing month-end close activities and account reconciliations. The role prepares reports to ensure that transactions are accounted for 1) in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and company policies and procedures, and 2) internal controls in compliance with SOX initiatives.
The role also assists the Accounting Supervisor and Manager incorporate accounting support tasks. Resolves medium to complex issues. Provides ideas, research, and support for process improvement and problem-solving. This role can also be called upon to participate in special projects throughout the year.

You Are Great At
- Preparation of monthly journal entries
- Preparation of monthly account reconciliation for key accounts using an account reconciliation tool
- Perform and meet month-end closing tasks
- Perform trend analysis such as P&L and B/S Assurance.
- Provides the internal and external auditors, and other stakeholder’s audit requests, relevant financial reports, and other ad-hoc requirements.
- Effectively lead engagement and collaborate with relevant colleagues, customers, and stakeholders with speed and quality.
- Perform assigned tasks in new account or entity migration and transition
- Responsible for ensuring agreed KPI/ SLA are met
- Responsible for ensuring all transactions processed are in compliance with internal controls.
- Responsible for staying current and up to date on any applicable new Accounting Standards in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the implementation and documentation of internal control processes and related procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.
- Supports in developing training and knowledge sharing to new hires and aids less experienced team members.
- Assist the team with regular process reviews and identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
- Actively participate in any team meeting, quarterly business review, regular meetings with the Corporate Accounting team, and other meetings as required.
- Participate in various employee engagement activities and FCOE-PH programs
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy, Business or Finance related courses
- CPA preferred
- Preferably with 5-8 years of relevant experience in RTR (Records to Report) function or General Accounting.
- Thorough knowledge and demonstrated skills in matters related to accounting and financial policies, procedures, and reporting.
- Analytical, critical, and creative thinking to identify problems and propose resolutions.
- Strong attention to detail, and good documentation and organizational skills
- Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Exhibits good oral and written communication skills and effectively communicates with people of diverse interests and levels of authority
- Strong team player
- Computer literate with high proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Experience in SAP is required
- Experience in using Blackline is preferred
- Basic US GAAP required
- Knowledgeable in SOX is preferred
- Willing to work flexible hours
