JOB SUMMARY:
The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the quality management system (QMS) is fully implemented in an organized and efficient manner.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in Civil Engineering with or without license
- 3 years to 5 years of work-related experience in Construction Management for both horizontal and vertical construction civil works
- Knowledgeable in Quantity Surveying works
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Willing to be assigned to different site locations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor if the QA/QC manual is being implemented on the Project site
- Distribute amendments and revisions to the Projects
- Monitor and check if the project is compliant with the codes, standards, regulations, specifications, and manuals are met
- Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the QMS. Recommend and implement improvements if needed • Monitoring and analyzing quality performance
- Issue Nonconformance report to the projects and ensure that the actions of closing them are met
PRE-CONSTRUCTION STAGE
- Plan review and recommend quality-related matters to the Planning, Design, and Engineering Dept. (PDE) for reference
- Collaborate with PDE in the formulation of material specifications
- Provide training for startup projects to ensure that sequence and methodology are met - Site Employees - Admin workers and Contractors
CONSTRUCTION STAGE
- Monitor all quality-related activities on the project (inspection and acceptance of work) • Perform quality audits periodically
- Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met
- Identify and develop solutions to correct inspection function deficiencies
POST CONSTRUCTION STAGE
- Ensure that the quality documentation for the project is complete before the Project close out
- Maintain database (at least 5 years) during operation of the project with PMD for tracing if needed
