for a full-time Filipino Administrative Assistant.
Summary
· Administrative Assistant to support the Company Director
· Permanent job 40 hours a week, $5 USD/hour
· Variety of work both in the wholesaling and retail side of our business
What does an administrative assistant do?
Within 3 – 6 months you’ll be trained and performing the following tasks:-
- PA Work - Providing general assistance to the Director
- Emails – Managing and responding to emails in a professional manner, sending out collaboration requestions, contacting retailers for the distribution of David hart products and contacting commercial developments & refurbishments for wholesaling David Hart reproductions
- Art appraisals & valuations - Handling inquiries, invoicing and creating certificates related to appraisals and valuations.
- Book submissions - Assisting in submitting books for publication on Amazon and other retailers
- Data Management – building new stock into our Art Galleria Inventory
- Photoshop work – cropping, inserting and building images to display on our website
- Website Management - Monitoring daily sales to manage website inventory and uploading new stock
- Maintain Invoicing -Tracking and invoicing for SMSF storage and insurance coverage and sourcing new business opportunities for SMSF storage.
- Rewards Program - Managing and building our David Hart Reward Program
- Monthly Newsletters - Composing and distributing monthly newsletters.
- Graphic Design – This is not essential, but depending on skill set, contributing to the design and development of a range of products, including clothing and accessories featuring David Hart designs would be ideal.

What skills do I need?
1. Strong administrative skills – We need someone with strong experience in administration, is well organised and has attention to detail.
2. Organised – highly organised, proactive and able to multitask effectively is important.
3. Communications Skills - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal is important for this role.
4. Speaks English Clearly & Confidently – Conversing with the Director and conversing directly to clients requires confidence and clarity.
5. Fast Computer Operator - The ability to type quickly and use applications at speed is important.
6. Emotional Resilience – It is important to maintain a professional and friendly disposition with no tendency to fall apart under pressure.
7. Bookeeping - it would be nice to have (but not necessary) some basic experience with bookkeeping and working with Zero.
8. Photoshop & Indesign – it would be nice to have some basic experience with these programs and would be a great advantage if you do but you must be able to learn if you don’t have any experience.
9. Microsoft Excel & Word – proficiency with both these programs is an advantage.
Wage & Working Hours?
We are looking for someone to work 40 hours per week, 9 am – 5 pm Brisbane time. These times can be adjusted if necessary. The job is for an immediate start, but I am happy for the right applicant to work out their notice period with their current employer.
Proposed Salary
· Start $5.00 USD per hour
· Potential raise based on high performance $5.50 USD per hour
Mandatory Criteria
This must be your primary source of income. Any additional work you do must not interfere with this job.
Who is David Hart?
David Hart is a renowned Australian artist celebrated for his unique artistic vision. Our business (Fine Art Investments Pty Ltd T/A David Hart Galleries) manages both the manufacturing, wholesaling and retail aspects of David's work, ensuring that his creations are represented to the highest standards.
We operate an art gallery that showcases and sells David's artwork, while also overseeing the production of related merchandise. Our goal is to promote David's artistic legacy and make his work accessible to a wider audience, fostering a deeper appreciation for his contributions to the art world.
David’s wife, Christine, is the Director of the company, and you would be working directly with her on a daily basis.
