About The Role
As a Senior Tax Officer, you are responsible for the timely and accurate filing and remittance of various taxes to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). You will assist in coordinating with other units/departments to ensure that the current tax regulations are being observed across the Security Bank Corporation (SBC) Group.

As a Senior Tax Officer, you are responsible for the timely and accurate filing and remittance of various taxes to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). You will assist in coordinating with other units/departments to ensure that the current tax regulations are being observed across the Security Bank Corporation (SBC) Group.
How you’ll contribute
- Perform and manage month-end and year-end activities
- Prepare and review of Tax Returns and/or Tax Calculations for SBC Group
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness issuance of BIR Form 2307
- Answer Tax Queries
- Bachelor’s or college degree holder
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in MS Office applications and Excel's formula functions
- Knowledgeable in General Ledger Reconciliation, Subsidiary Ledger Reconciliation, and preparation of reports
- Knowledgeable in web-based applications (Oracle, EMCS, TRCS)
- Knowledge in BIR audit investigation and assessment is a plus
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external parties
