Responsibilities

· Responsible for managing and overseeing over all food and beverage operations.

· Reports to the F&B Manager / F&B SBU Head

· Assist in the recruitment, selection, training and staff development in coordination with HR

· Maintain efficient team, ensure continued employee motivation through coaching, target setting and performance reviews.

· Address any performance and competency issues relating to staff and follow appropriate disciplinary procedures through to authorized levels.

· Responsible for cost control, sales target and budget compliance daily

· Maintain YTD / MTD revenue and manage expenses.

· Build employee morale and teamwork by taking an active interest in associate needs, providing support and encouragement and promoting mutual trust and respect.

· Communicate all necessary information to all staff.

· Identify commercial opportunities by engaging in marketing initiatives to promote the business (special packages, events, group bookings promotions, etc.)

· Taking responsibility for the daily operations of the Front of the House and Back of the House

· Manage all F&B day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards.

· Carry out inspections of premises and equipment to ensure that a state of good repair is maintained.

Qualifications

· College Graduate (preferably Hotel and Restaurant Management or any Business Management Course)

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing food and beverage / restaurants.

· Effective financial management and budget controls

· Effective leadership, decision making, coaching, delegation and motivation skills.

· Experience in providing a service for a variety of customer types.

· Ability to identify marketing needs to deliver on commercial, service and financial plans

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Ambitious and flexible with the ability to set clear and achievable goals.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle a varied and demanding workload
