Brief Description

Responsible for the development and implementation of the category plans for our clients to achieve optimal sales of concepts and products and ensure optimal shelf position in key channels.

KEY ROLES:

  • Identifies trends and developments in the market and categories them into category opportunities and threats.
  • Categorizes market data and market share developments within the category into actual opportunities and threats.
  • Develops and implements shopper studies.
  • Develops and implements space management projects.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of shopper activation, which is part of the retailer’s account plan.
  • Develops and presents objective recommendations to retailers with regard to the assortment, promotional activities, shelf management, introductions and shop floor activation.
  • Accompanies Sales to national accounts visits to advise on shelf pace, assortment development promotion in, evaluation and strategies and shopper marketing activation.
  • Project member in a category team (refreshment) within in the commercial department such as implement shopper and market data knowledge within the designated category team.

Qualifications:

  • College/University graduate, Major in Business, Marketing or any related course.
  • With at least 3 years in Trade Marketing or Sales/Marketing
  • Experience in shopper marketing and with shopper research
  • Strong background in category development and category planning
  • Good presentation, influencing and communication skills
