Job Description

We are seeking a customer service-oriented Network Engineer with 8+ years of relevant experience and a strong focus on NSX-T implementation and configuration. This individual will play a key role in service delivery and support for our operations, including supporting and maintaining our data center infrastructure, servers, and networks, while also providing direct support to our customers. The ideal candidate must be flexible and available on-call as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement network systems by defining system configuration, overseeing installation, and enforcing standards.
  • Maximize network performance through continuous monitoring, troubleshooting network problems, and scheduling necessary upgrades.
  • Work closely with network architects on optimizing network design and performance.
  • Monitor network usage, anticipate potential problems, and propose effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve team objectives.
  • Provide support for NSX-T environments, focusing on configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in a technical field or a combination of relevant education and experience.
  • 5+ years of expertise in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices (firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points/controllers, monitoring tools).
  • Experience with NSX-T implementation and configuration.
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure protocols such as SSL/TLS, DHCP, HTTP, LDAP.
  • Proficient in firewall configuration and maintenance (Juniper SRX, Cisco ASA, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Load Balancer configuration (F5, Citrix NetScaler).
  • Experience working for North American, European, or Australian companies.
  • CCNP certification required; CCIE certification is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of routing protocols (dynamic/static), VPN configuration, and VLANs (Trunking, VTP, Spanning Tree).
  • Experience with virtual networking in cloud environments (VMware, Openstack).
  • Familiarity with data center switching protocols and products (Cisco Nexus, Arista, etc.).
  • Knowledge of public cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Experience with virtualization stacks like VMware, KVM, and Xen.
