Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in the renewable energy sectors to oversee contract management for projects in the Asia-Pacific region. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in contract negotiation, administration, and compliance within the renewable energy industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from negotiation to execution and compliance, for wind energy projects.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including procurement, service agreements, and joint venture agreements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, legal teams, and stakeholders to ensure contract terms align with project objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations and timelines.
  • Provide guidance on risk management strategies and mitigate potential contractual disputes.
  • Maintain comprehensive contract documentation and reporting systems.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and company policies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in the wind energy sector.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in contract management, preferably within the renewable energy sector, with a focus on wind energy projects.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and negotiation techniques.
  • Arbitration expertise and FIDIC expertise.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
