Our flagship product is the Qashier Smart Terminal, a connected, multi-purpose device that combines a cloud-based POS software, integrated payment acceptance and a proprietary app store in one uniquely designed device. Qashier is looking for a Finance Executive to support our growth!
We are a dynamic and fast-growing team that is excited about commerce, retail, and payments and the opportunity to transform these industries with data and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists in daily finance operations such as accounts receivables and accounts.
- Payable processing based on company Standard Operating Procedures
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and quarterly financial reports
- Preparing listing, schedules, and intercompany matrix every month
- Compiling and gathering financial data for various reporting purposes.
- Involvement in business operations that require the finance department's verification work done
- Assists in comparing historical results against budgets and forecasts and performing variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Assist in the preparation of cash flow projection
- Assist with audits, including internal and external audits
- Undertake tax return preparation, filing, and compliance
- Undertake any other finance-related matters or ad-hoc projects
- At least a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent
- 0-2 years of relevant experience exposure in technology companies is an advantage.
- Experience in corporate tax preparation is a must
- Experience in Finance Operations, FP&A, and Finance Strategy is a plus
- Advanced Microsoft skills are a plus, especially MS Excel Functions
- Experience in using Microsoft Office, G Suite, and accounting software (i.e., Xero)
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure
- Organised and detail-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
