Unicorn Hunters is looking for a strategic and driven Partnership and Business Development Manager to expand our presence in the Philippines. This role focuses on identifying, establishing, and nurturing partnerships with key players in the fintech, media, and startup ecosystems. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial thinker with a strong network in the Philippines, skilled at negotiating and building alliances that align with our brand’s mission and growth objectives

The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial thinker with a strong network in the Philippines, skilled at negotiating and building alliances that align with our brand’s mission and growth objectives
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a partnership strategy to support Unicorn Hunters' goals in the Philippine market
- Identify and evaluate potential business partners, including startup incubators, accelerators, financial institutions, media, and influencer networks
- Negotiate partnership agreements that drive mutual value and enhance Unicorn Hunters’ visibility and credibility
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing partners, ensuring consistent engagement and alignment on shared goals
- Collaborate with marketing, PR, and content teams to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth
- Prepare regular reports on partnership performance, business development activities, and market insights
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic alliances, ideally within fintech, entertainment, or technology sectors
- Demonstrated success in securing and managing high-value partnerships in the Philippines
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to work with senior-level stakeholders
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; proficiency in local languages is a plus
- Existing network with fintech, startup hubs, and media in the Philippines
- Ability to analyze market dynamics and translate insights into strategic action plans
- Experience in working within cross-functional, international teams
- Flexible and adaptable – can manage change and work comfortably with ambiguity
- Team player – works well in a collaborative environment
