The Role

Job Summary: OwnBank is seeking an Information Security Manager to oversee all cybersecurity matters. This role involves creating and maintaining a robust Information Security Management Program to protect our information assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Develop and communicate a security roadmap aligned with the bank's risk appetite, collaborating with IT to implement it effectively.
• Risk Management: Regularly assess system vulnerabilities and establish a risk-based process for managing vendor risks.
• Stakeholder Management: Build effective relationships with business stakeholders and maintain clear communication about information security responsibilities.
• Compliance and Regulation: Coordinate with auditors on security assessments, manage security incidents, and recommend technical controls to uphold security policies.
  
  

Ideal Profile

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• At least 5 years of experience in Cyber & Information Security or IT Security Management, with a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification.
• Proficient in MS Office and strong knowledge of network security and IT regulatory compliance (BSP standards).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
