About the Role
As a Marketplace Content Associate, you will report directly to the Trust & Safety Associate Manager. You will perform content moderation in all areas related to Trust and Safety across all countries where Carousell operates. You will act as a generalist who will perform actions to support the content integrity of the platform, with internal and external user experience in mind. This is a full-time project-based (12 months) role based in Ortigas, Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines.

About the Role
As a Marketplace Content Associate, you will report directly to the Trust & Safety Associate Manager. You will perform content moderation in all areas related to Trust and Safety across all countries where Carousell operates. You will act as a generalist who will perform actions to support the content integrity of the platform, with internal and external user experience in mind. You will:
- Perform manual moderation functions for incoming listings / users from different sources of report.
- Ensure listings and users in our platform are compliant to our policies.
- Identify and act on suspicious or undesirable content or behavior in our platform.
- Perform moderation functions using different tools.
- Identify areas of improvement and suggest solutions to enhance User experience to keep the marketplace safe.
- Respond to tickets in relation to fraud, disputes, account enforcement, and authority requests.
- Respond to escalation from different channels in the organization
You have:
- Educational Background and Work Experience
- Nice to have
- Experience in payment dispute (chargeback) management / representment and documentation
- Knowledge of chargeback regulations and industry standards
- Bachelor’s/College degree in Business, Management, or IT related courses
- Background on quality Assurance or Administrative experience
- Technical Skills Required
- Basic proficiency with office software like Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and any relevant industry-specific programs.
- Detail oriented mindset – to spot patterns quickly even with limited variables
- Highly analytical in discerning different levels of content compliance.

- Conversant in English & Filipino whether verbal or written
- Good interpersonal skills and is a team player
- Great passion for technology and self-growth
- Tech-savvy; requires minimum training to learn new systems & technology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
- Strategic thinking and an outstanding problem-solving skills and overall positive attitude
- Must be willing to work on a 12-month contract
- Must have a work from home setup
