The Solar Site Manager is responsible for the smooth and safe execution of the construction of the solar power plant at the customer site. He ensures coordination between the GreenYellow Operation team, customers and selected subcontractors.
- Responsible for all safety aspects at the site, including safety walks in the field.
- Determine daily schedules and assignments for work activities, including execution.
- Manage on-site technicians, including contractors (solar EPC)
- Monitor employees’ s work levels and review work performance. Investigate accidents and injuries and prepare reports of findings.
- Communicate activities to the customer through daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Create and complete service orders and purchase requisitions.
- Exchange with the technical team the evolution of each project and share difficulties, and problems met during construction.
- Accomplishes work requirements by assigning, scheduling, and coaching different companies on different sites.
- Coordination of work following Green Yellow specifications and expectations resolving operational problems.
- Create the link between Green Yellow‘s study and work implementation on site.
- Orienting, monitoring, coaching, and training companies to achieve the quality and functionality expected by Green Yellow.
Requirement :
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in the solar industry
- Certifications in “working at height”, “electrical”, “safety”
- Experience in building C&I solar plant (roof-top) is a plus
- Program Management skills
- hands-on, able to work independently, proactive, solution-driven
- Comfortable with MS Office
- Good communication skills
- Willing to be stationed at the project site during construction (daily allowance provided)
- Fluent in English
