Job Description

  • Works with HR Unit & Team Leaders in the development, design and delivery of training and organization development initiatives and HR services. Provides technical input to ensure the quality of HR programs.
  • Builds and identifies the human capital critical to the organization now and in the future. Formulates plans and programs to build a robust leadership
  • Identifies and implements programs that build the UBP employer brand.
  • Concerned with increasing employee engagement and activities focused on building a positive and high performing workplace. Educates and rallies leaders to embrace and live the UnionBank DNA.
  • Reviews reward & performance management systems that motivate and support the Bank's philosophy on meritocracy.
  • Advises on the appropriate organization and talent required by the business and operational units.
  • Acts as counsellor, confidant & coach to executives · Resolves interpersonal and organizational conflicts as required
  • Plans and prepares for Executive, MANCOM & Board Meetings where the HR agenda is discussed.
  • Performs day-to-day functions that require decision making, implementation of controls, compliance to regulatory requirements and management of costs, operational & legal risks.
