Eaton’s Electrical Sector is hiring a Country Manager in Philippines.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, own, and execute a key market segment sales strategy for Datacenter/Industry/Manufacture, Commercial Buildings, BPO shared service, MOEM and Semiconductor/Electronics segment, to achieve segment growth objectives.
  • Hire, review, on-board, train and motivate direct reports to accomplish specific sales objectives. Act appropriately to ensure that employees are treated fairly; guide discipline/performance management process as necessary.
  • Responsible for key customer relationships, key job negotiations, and commercial issues to maximize customer affinity and effectiveness of the business.
  • Responsible for promotions, channel programs, association networking and lead process to maximize the pipeline for growth and return on sales. Coordinate Eaton’s response to commercial issues and lead activities to ensure prompt response.
  • Support the development of a locally relevant pricing/positioning strategy to maximize price realization and provide input to centralized price team to improve opportunity hit rate.
  • Drive local coordination of the tendering process, leveraging the centralized bidding team to meet local customer expectations.
  • Support/Assist in the development of localized sales tools and marketing material for the local market.
  • Responsible for planning, organizing, addressing, and leading all the activities of the organization, including strategic planning, profit planning, organizational capability assessment, building a culture of engagement, etc.
  • Identifies and recommends the short, medium, and long-term business strategies to build and innovate organization to meet further business growth.
  • Directs and organizes the organization’s material, human and economic resources. Identifies and develops business opportunities.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical /Electronic Engineering, MBA is preferred.
  • Requires product application knowledge for Cooling, UPS, power distribution product, systems and solution as well as working knowledge of the electrical industry.
  • Experience in Electrical field, preferably with Datacenter, Energy Transition (ex. ESS) segment
  • Key account selling in the IT/Datacenter, Banking, Telco, Semi-con industry in East Asia


Skills

  • Solid negotiation skills and market knowledge including competitor products. Sales and marketing experience in product offering is highly preferred.
  • Previous major account selling experience is required.
  • Experienced in solution selling with customer centric team.
  • Strong communication skills and good English skills in both written and verbal.
  • Strategic thinking and planning with strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Strong organizational, communication and project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills used for review, motivation, and development of direct reports are strongly recommended.
  • Ability to multitask, complete projects with tight deadlines and proven product management experience. Good balance of technical and commercial acumen
  • Must be experienced in competitive benchmarking of features and price, new product requirement definition, business plan development, value proposition development, new product launch, forecasting.
  • Must also be experienced with customer meetings and presentations.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization, in virtual teams (across different locations), and cross-cultural environments.
