  • Budgeting Functions:

Ongoing assessment of property budgets, ensuring alignment with current

Submit budget revisions for overages or unforeseen expenditures, adhering to

Lead the budgeting process with department heads and ensure alignment with

  • Financial Reporting:

Submit quarterly reports for regulatory and financial partner requirements,

including tax credits and government programs.

Ensure timely submission of external financial reports and client-specific

Audit Preparation: Lead preparations for internal and external audits, ensuring all

financial documentation and processes are audit-ready.

  • Cash Management:

Oversee cash disbursement processes ensuring adherence to budget controls.

Monitor cash needs for property operations and oversee overall cash

management strategy, including bank reconciliations performed by the Senior

Property Accountant.

Oversee tenant account management and ensure compliance with rent collection

and bad debt write-off procedures.

  • Procurement Compliance:

Ensure compliance with procurement requirements, overseeing financial

documentation for services and material purchases.

  • Debt Servicing:

Manage debt servicing for properties, ensuring proper documentation and timely

payments on loans or lines of credit.

  • Audit & Financial Controls:

Maintain internal financial controls over the entire portfolio and ensure

compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

Collaborate with Property Management, Maintenance, and other departments,

providing financial oversight for multi-functional property needs.
