KONU is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as an Operations and Procurement Supervisor. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of the business by spearheading efforts on operations efficiencies, implementing systems improvements, and building supplier relations.

Responsibilities:

Operations Efficiencies:

  • Develop strategies and SOP that will improve both quantity of output and order fulfillment accuracy.
  • Create an effective and streamlined ops processes that will ensure adherence to set SLA targets with the fulfillment shippers.
  • Lead the digitalization of warehouse management systems.
  • Manage and optimize inventory levels to ensure smooth operation, including conducting physical counts and system reconciliations.
  • Work closely with the production team for overall process flow improvement.
  • Coordinate with customer service and quality control teams to manage customer issues and ensure a high level of customer service.
  • Manage a team of fulfillment managers, including hiring, training, and developing employees to enhance performance.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed within the fulfillment center to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Develop ways on reducing consumables consumption without sacrificing packing quality.

Inventory Management:

  • Manage and optimize inventory levels to ensure smooth operation, including conducting physical counts and system reconciliations.
  • Devise and implement SOP for smoother process flow from receiving finished goods up to dispatch.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder as needed.

Procurement:

  • Process purchase orders, and work with finance on processing payments.
  • Track and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of purchasing strategies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for purchases.
  • Manage supplier performance, including quality, delivery time, and pricing.
  • Resolve supplier issues and disputes.

Management Reporting:

  • Prepare and present operations reports on output, inventory, order fulfillment accuracy, and other key performance metrics for Monthly Business Review with management.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Handle general office administration tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, or a related field is required.
  • 5 years of experience in operations, warehouse management, inventory management, and procurement in a leadership position.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
