What are we looking for?

Skills Required

  • SAP Certified Application Associate or Professional (SD) with at min 2 green/brown field implementations
  • 7-10+ years of hands-on configuration experience SD in SAP ERP (ECC and S4) environments
  • 3+ end to end implementation experiences in similar industry (Manufacturing).
  • Experience in SAP Logistics, Billing and AR functions
  • Experience and knowledge of key integration points with relevant modules such as but not limited to SAP FICO, GL reporting, IM and MM.
  • Experiences with Fiori, ODATA and SAP UI5.
  • Experience in business analysis to gather customer requirements and translate them into actionable proposed solutions, including functional specifications.
  • Able to identity what is configuration and where some developments maybe desired to help facilitate delivery of business requirement e.g. Gaps analysis, develop WRICEF register.
  • Integration and data migration experiences related to SD data objects e.g. Key knowledge of SAP SD.
  • ABAP Custom Development Knowledge, particular for SD
  • EDI Inbound and Outbound idocs processes and configuration, particular for S

Nice To Have

  • Experiences with SAP FIN, PP, PM, SD, LE.
  • Experience of SAP BTP solutions.
  • Experience of integrating SAP ERP (ECC and or S4) to external solutions.
  • Experience working within an SAP project delivery environment.
  • Experience in global project delivery.
  • Experience delivering solutions using waterfall and agile methodologies.

What will you do?

  • Own the SD solution and ensure this can be explained to all levels of the organization and be comfortable leading, coordinating workshops as part of SAP deployment.
  • Be the main facilitator of the implementation and support of SAP SD
  • Able to translate high level business requirements to detailed functional designs relating to actionable configuration and development items in SAP SD
  • Own and create business process designs illustrating process flows for SAP SD
  • Assess and design solutions for change requests in SAP ECC and S4, produce functional specifications, process documentation and support system and user testing.
  • Configure and adapt SAP solutions to realize complex business requirements.
  • Responsible for SD integration with other modules (SAP MM, IM and FICO)
  • Facilitate and lead workshops to collect business requirements specific to SD processes
  • Design, customize, document and implement unit, integration and regression test plans for SD
  • Provide support to the business user community for production support tickets, enhancement, projects and user training issues.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders in order to design, develop, deliver and support benefits delivery from effective business solutions.
  • To support in the engagement of third parties and internal architecture and technical teams to develop and agree roadmap and transformation projects related to SAP SD that deliver both business and IT strategies
  • Act as an SAP subject matter expert, providing specialist advice about system functionality. Use this knowledge to deliver excellence in operational support, project and change delivery.
  • Ensure SAP issues are escalated effectively where needed whether they be related to support, change or project delivery.
  • Deliver any project or change related activity as part of wider project teams as required.
  • Ensure that policies, standards, procedures and guidelines are followed.
  • Prepare and deliver workshops on solution offerings and capabilities while maintaining standardization.
  • Work with solution architects to deliver supportable, scalable and secure IT landscape.
  • Train and mentor junior team members
