JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for contributing and working on key engagement activities in relation to the execution of Supply Chain and Operations projects and engagements. A Senior Associate is expected to conduct the detailed project activities, supervise his/her Associates and collaborate with his/her clients in order to drive business improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work effectively as a team member and provide support and lead key project activities in relation to the execution of engagements according to the defined approach and methodology and with guidance from his/her Manager
  • Lead the gathering of data related to the business processes and procedures through interviews and process walkthroughs with the client counterparts
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
  • Identify key business issues and contribute to the development of value-adding solutions and recommendations to clients that will meet or exceed their business needs
  • Lead the creation and preparation of management reports
  • Supervise and train Associates in their engagements
  • Participate and assist in preparing for facilitated workshops, interviews, meetings and proposal development with Managers
  • Develop positive relationship with peers, Associates, Managers and mentors or counselors within SGV and globally within the Firm

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or any Business Management course

RELEVANT EXPERIENCES:

  • 3 to 5 years in a Supply Chain related role (e.g., purchasing, planning, operations, logistics) or any process improvement/continuous improvement roles
  • Business process management experience
  • Project management/change management experience

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION:

Certification in engineering degrees (i.e., Certified Industrial Engineer) and/or continuous improvement (i.e., lean six sigma) are a plus

  • Proficient in English (written and verbal)
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, Powerpoint and Excel)
  • Knowledgeable and is capable of conducting activities in business process management, project management, and re-engineering
  • Able to understand business problems, identifying needs and responding through innovative and practical solutions
  • Understands and is capable of performing Data Analytics (if applicable)
  • Able to do process mapping/modeling, analysis, and design
  • Knowledgeable in basic process design tools (e.g., BPMN, MS Visio, Bizagi, MS Project, etc.)
  • Flexible and is willing to work in client sites within or beyond Metro Manila and is open for secondment in other EY offices
