  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.
  6. Select Sites can use Javascript.

Main Tasks:

Core objectives include:
  • Producing a range of residential/commercial/industrial reports upon request, in the office, including but not limited to Sustainable Design Assessments, WSUD, Waste Management Plans and Section J Assessments in accordance with council, surveyors and client requirements
  • Liaising with clients and councils ensuring the cost-effective measures are specified
  • Educating and improving client’s knowledge of general ESD and energy rating measures and ensure they understand what has been included in these reports
  • Maintain effective communication between subcontractors, management and clients alike
  • Managing the working order of job files and jobs met deadlines of clients
  • Establish and refine current internal templates

The above list is not exhaustive, and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company.

Other duties:
  • Develop and build relationships with larger clients
  • Develop the Client brand in the ESD industry

Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering/Environment/Energy/Sustainable Building, or related courses
  • Full planning and building permit / application knowledge preferred
  • Understanding in Sustainable Design Principles for buildings, related to energy efficiency, stormwater management, indoor environment quality, sustainable transport and waste management.
  • Australian code (NCC) and sustainability rating tools (BESS/Greenstar, etc.) knowledge preferred
  • At least 1-2 years relevant experience in Sustainability Design/Consulting, Energy Modelling or similar.
