As Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the processing of purchase orders and deliveries of all general materials and service requirements of the company and for ensuring that procured goods and services meet the agreed quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:
PROCUREMENT SERVICES
- Participates in the formulation of procurement strategies, policies, and procedures for the organization in collaboration with Strategic Procurement and Supply Network Planning.
- Reviews and releases Purchase Orders for approval and ensures accuracy of data.
- Ensures all Pending DR situations at plants are resolved by staff on a daily basis to assure that data on SAP is constantly and timely updated and makes a report to Department Head if it needs to be escalated.
SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT
- Manages the contracts executed by the company, which includes development, evaluation, and awarding in coordination with Strategic Procurement Manager.
- Resolves purchasing conflicts with vendors to ensure that all concerns are addressed in a timely manner and that smooth business relationship is maintained.
- Coordinates with Strategic Procurement in indicating suggested allocations to suppliers and Satellite Plants in the approved Order Sheet.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Sets viable objectives and KPIs, and recommends/develops measurement methodology.
- Leads people/organization development in areas of performance and capability development (performance improvement, training, capacity) & performance evaluation.
- Conducts training needs and competencies assessment and develops programs to address identified gaps.
Position Qualifications:
- Graduate of Business Administration or any related course.
- With at least 5 years related work experience and 2 years experience in managerial leadership/managerial position. With people management experience.
- With experience in the actual buying of General Materials and Services.
- Advanced proficiency in the following competencies: Relationship Management, Category Management, Contract Management, Cost Management, Inventory Management, Market Intelligence, Materials Requirements, Planning, Negotiation Skills, Procurement, Quality Management, Sourcing Process.
- Willing to be based in Novaliches.
