Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The Social Media Manager will lead DigiPlus’ social media strategy across owned channels, ensuring alignment with business objectives and each stage of the public relations funnel. This role will be pivotal in enhancing brand visibility, engagement, and audience growth.
- Campaign management: Plan, execute, and optimize social media campaigns. This includes setting KPIs, monitoring performance, and reporting insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Content calendar management: Oversee and maintain a strategic content calendar on creative requirements. Ensure alignment with broader brand messaging and seasonal campaigns.
- Community engagement and insights: Partner closely with internal teams to analyze and present data on community engagement, sentiment, and other social media metrics. Develop strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive audience interaction.
- Trend analysis and best practices: Continuously monitor emerging social media trends and innovations, incorporating best practices to keep DigiPlus at the forefront of the digital landscape.
- Budget oversight and optimization: Manage the social media budget, allocate resources strategically, and optimize spending based on performance KPIs. Aim for upper-level goals related to ROI and brand positioning.
- Collaboration: Work closely with key teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of five years in social media management or a similar role, with experience in building and executing multi-channel campaigns.
- Technical skills: Proficient in social media management tools and social listening platforms to produce actionable insights and reports.
- Analytical abilities: Strong analytical skills to assess campaign performance, identify trends, and translate data into actionable strategies.
- Creative mindset: Demonstrated skills in content ideation, trend analysis, and developing unique ways to engage audiences.
- Strategic awareness: In-depth understanding of digital and social media best practices, and ability to identify and respond to industry trends effectively.
- Communication skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey insights, ideas, and recommendations to cross-functional teams and leaders.
