We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.

About The Role

The Commercial Training Manager will work with the various commercial teams to address the developmental needs of the team. The primary objective of the role is to continuously upskill the members of the commercial teams to ensure that they are able to do their current roles well, and be prepared for their future roles.

Your responsibilities

In summary, you'll:

Training Analysis and Design

  • Reinforce the Reckitt Learning Model (50-40-10) and tailor-fitting the practices in the context of the different commercial teams
  • Analyze the needs of the various commercial teams for the development of its different functions
  • Work closely with the commercial directors and managers to align the needs of their teams
  • Assess and localize training content from regional and global parts
  • Design new and relevant content based on the training needs of the various teams
  • Benchmark against other similar markets within the Reckitt space and external competitors

Implementation and Execution

  • Implement and execute training and development programs based on the identified needs of the people
  • Facilitate classroom trainings and other relevant modules as needed
  • Utilize relevant learning management systems and platforms in the implementation of programs

Continuous Improvement

  • Continuously build, improve, and future-proof development programs to ensure that development of the commercial teams is continuous
  • Train and develop future trainers through a certification or similar program
  • Use data points to continuously improve on learning programs

The experience we're looking for

  • Proven background as an Analyst within the FMCG sector.
  • Ability to interpret data to weave a meaningful story that supports commercial objectives.
  • Well-versed in Consumer, Shopper, and Customer Insights, along with Category Analysis.
  • Skilled in collaboration and partnership, with strength in influencing outcomes.
  • Knowledgeable in product planning, sales negotiation, and possessing broad business acumen.
