Job Summary:
Responsible for supporting operational efficiency and productivity of cards acquiring business through:
- Accurate and timely review of requirements of Business Unit or Card Brands for Electronic Fast Transfer- Point of Sale application enhancements.
- Ensuring that application enhancements a/re developed according to the required specifications and are compliant with Card Brands and BSP regulatory requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Evaluates functional specifications obtained from users prior to actual software development by terminal vendors.
- Ensures that applications delivered by vendors are correct based on the specifications provided. Also makes sure that the existing functionalities are not affected by the new application.
- Ensures that terminal software bugs or issues found during SIT (Software Integration Test) and UAT (User Acceptance Test) are completely addressed.
- Investigate and resolved problems or POS related Issues encountered in production.
- Oversees provision of training for users on the terminal operating procedures and on the functionality of the terminal software applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related courses
- At least 3 years of experience in hardware, software and POS Implementation and maintenance, preferably gained from a bank or other financial institutions.
- Must be willing to be assigned and work on-site in Ortigas
