The Finance Manager is a key leadership role within the business and a member of the 5 person Leadership Team responsible for managing and building the business.
Reporting to the CEO, this role will work very closely with other members of the Leadership Team to continually improve the business.
AIMS Industrial is a growing Industrial Supplies business in Sydney, Australia with a passionate, professional team in Manila (all WFH).
We only hire in Manila as, particularly in this role, you are available to attend monthly team meet ups in Metro Manila, as well as the annual conference and other, as needs, meetings in Manila.
The role is responsible for managing & overseeing all facets of the Finance/Accounting function, including:
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Customer Credit Assessment & Management
- Customer Invoicing
- Internal Accounts Auditing
- Financial Reporting
- Liaison with External Accountant
Under the most recent restructure, this role is also accountable for overseeing business administration, which includes HR & IT. This is currently very small.
Whilst this team is currently small (3 people), it is critical for this role that you have some prior leadership experience.
Knowledge of the Australian Accounting & Taxation system would be an advantage but is not essential.
As this role will mean working closely with customers and suppliers in Australia, it is important that you have excellent verbal and written English skills.
