That's where you come in as our next Product Compliance Associate.
2. Scorecard
SDS Coverage: 100% SDS coverage for all applicable products.
Label Compliance: 100?curacy and compliance for all product labels.
Response Time: Respond to all consultant and supplier inquiries within 2-3 hours.
Project Completion Efficiency: Reduce project completion time by 5-7 days per project.
3. What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means ensuring every product in our chemical category has an accurate, up-to-date SDS, and that all product labels are fully compliant with regulatory standards. Building strong, proactive relationships with raw material suppliers, consultants, and internal teams is essential, as is maintaining an organized, accessible system for compliance documentation. Additionally, success involves effectively communicating regulatory changes to the team, allowing Greenhaus to consistently meet evolving industry standards while fostering trust and reliability in our product offerings.
4. Primary Objectives
Ensure all products in the chemical category are fully compliant with relevant regulations, including SDS and labeling requirements.
Establish and maintain a clear compliance documentation process.
Act as the primary point of contact for product compliance and regulatory questions.
5. Regular Work Activities
SDS Creation and Review: Work with consultants to develop or update SDS for all applicable products.
Label Review: Collaborate with consultants to ensure all product packaging is compliant with industry and regulatory standards.
Documentation Management: Keep detailed, accurate records of compliance documentation
Portal Management: Upload all compliance documents to SDS management portal
Communication: Maintain regular communication with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal tea m me mbers to facilitate smooth compliance processes.
6. As Needed Activities
Regulatory Monitoring: Monitor industry regulatory updates from bodies such as OSHA, EPA, and GHS, and communicate relevant changes.
Product Development Support: Advise the product development team on compliance considerations for new products.
Training and Development: Participate in training to stay updated on compliance best practices.
7. Mandatory Meetings
Weekly Compliance Review: Attend weekly meetings to discuss compliance status and address any issues.
8. Key Skills
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with SDS, GHS labeling, and chemical product regulations.
Detail Orientation: Ability to manage complex documentation with high accuracy.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate interactions with multiple stakeholders.
Organizational Skills: Strong skills in documentation management and prioritizing multiple tasks.

10. Role Requirements
Prior experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, or quality assurance within the chemical industry is preferred.
Someone with a demonstrated ability to manage and maintain good relationships with suppliers
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with document management systems.
Strong attention to detail, proactive communication and learning, and a commitment to regulatory excellence.
Someone who seeks out issues and owns driving solutions to them, while keeping all resources informed of progress.
