Requirements:
- A CPA
- At least 7 years of experience as an Accounting/Finance Manager or Accounting Supervisor handling at least 5 FTE
- Strong knowledge of Philippines' Financial Reporting Standards/IFRS and US GAAP Accounting
- Experience in Accounting software like PeopleSoft and Oracle
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
- From the BPO/Shared Services Industry
- This finance person is required at the location to oversee the finance functions for the Manila entity. Areas of responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing the month-end close and forecast processes, providing narratives around the variances of financial data, managing all the tax requirements, and completing the filings with the local government authorities (e.g. BIR, SEC, PEZA etc.), and completing the annual audit process while working with the external local auditors.
- Assist and keep track of pending assessments and litigation under BIR, PEZA
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Provide recommendations and improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
- To assist in periodical reporting to Group Tax department
