• You are HR/recruitment/personal assistant for the nurse staffing agency The PRN Nurse LLC.
Your job is to recruit caregivers, med passers, certified nursing assistants, certified medication technicians, certified medical assistants, licensed practical/vocational nurses, and registered nurses for hire that preferably have a compact license or a license in the state for the job that is available.
• You will interview potential employees, request resumes, follow up and make sure compliance paperwork is completed within 48hours of potential employee applying for position. You will send the link Upgrade to see actual info to any caregivers, med passers, certified nursing assistants, certified medication technicians, certified medical assistants, licensed practical/vocational nurses, and registered nurse’s email s that you come across on job board websites or any other websites. The goal is to obtain 20 applicants a week.
• You will also call nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation facilities, and hospitals in the state of Oregon, Washington, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa (more will be added later) to obtain the director of nurses and administrators contact information. Once you obtain this information you will add it to a word document listing the names of the businesses in alphabetical order along with the contact information. 50 calls a day are expected to be made. Please pay attention to time zones. Calls should only be placed during business hours.
• Every day at 9am (respected states time zone) you will call a nursing home, rehabilitation facility, hospital, and skilled nursing facility and ask to speak to the administrator, director of nurses, or staffing coordinator. Once you are placed on the phone or connected to voi cemail you will persuade them to why The PRN Nurse is able to fulfill their staffing needs.
If you get sent to voi cemail , say
Hello, this is (insert name) with The PRN Nurse I was reaching out because we noticed your facility needs staffing support and we have a dedicated team of CNAs, med techs and nurses ready to assist with temporary or long-term needs. Please feel free to call us at Upgrade to see actual info or email us at Upgrade to see actual info you for your time we look forward to working with you.”
You will then place a follow up call to the same facilities throughout the week until facility signs contract.
When contact information of administration, director of nurses or the staffing coordinator is obtained you will send them a copy of the contract and follow up via email until the contract is signed.
Also, be willing to answer any questions regarding payroll, scheduling, etc. You will be asked to make phone calls using Unitel app and will be given access to email account.
We will have weekly team meetings days and times TBD. This is to make sure everyone is on track and all questions have been answered.
