The Category Operations Manager will play a key role in defining and executing the overall strategy of the assigned category.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Lead and own the assortment development and projects of assigned category (ie. FMCG, Fashion, EL) that will lead to increased sales.
  • Develop, propose and manage the supply strategy and execution with local category teams.
  • Analyze category performance and reporting to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with local and regional stakeholders projects acting as the country PMO to ensure alignment and effective execution.
  • Work closely with local User Product Operations team to come up with the tactical seller packages

Qualifications & Skills

  • More than 6 years of relevant experience, with a preference on e-commerce platforms particularly commercial operations
  • Good understanding of brand/product/industry trends and market viability
  • Ability to translate consumer insights and business objectives into an integrated on-site strategy
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data to insights
  • Demonstrated project management capability, able to prioritize and deliver on tight timelines
  • High attention to detail and critical of processes
  • Balance of both strategic and creative thinking, able to think long term and outside the box
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Agile and able to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
