We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Virtual Assistant (Bookkeeper) to manage our financial records and provide administrative support. This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys working independently, is highly organized, and has experience in both bookkeeping and virtual assistant roles.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Virtual Assistant (Bookkeeper) to manage our financial records and provide administrative support. This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys working independently, is highly organized, and has experience in both bookkeeping and virtual assistant roles.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Bookkeeping
- Manage accounts payable and receivable; ensure timely payments and invoicing
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Maintain and organize accurate financial records
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist in budget preparation and tracking expenses
- Process payroll and track employee hours (if applicable)
- Work closely with the accountant for year-end tax preparations
- Handle email correspondence and calendar management
- Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Assist in creating reports, presentations, and documents
- Conduct research and compile data as needed
- Manage digital files and update information in company databases
- Provide customer service support, handling inquiries and addressing concerns
- Execute special projects as assigned
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper and/or Virtual Assistant
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with remote team tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Asana, or Trello)
- Knowledge of cloud storage systems (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox)
- Background in finance, business administration, or a related field
- Schedule: US Time Zone, must be amenable to shifting/weekends/holidays schedule
- Work Arrangement: Office
