About Us: We manage a portfolio of properties listed on platforms like Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com , and our own site. We’re expanding and looking for a motivated, experienced virtual property assistant to join our team. While experience is essential, we offer additional training to help you grow within the role.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Operations Assistant to support day-to-day operations, maintain high-quality standards, and uphold a seamless experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of solid experience in short-term rental management, a passion for hospitality, and the initiative to address challenges proactively. You will work closely with our team to manage tasks ranging from guest communication to coordinating property maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Communication & Support: Promptly respond to guest inquiries, provide support, and resolve issues to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple properties, including housekeeping coordination, property inspections, and restocking essentials.
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Handle any issues or emergencies with resourcefulness and critical thinking, making quick decisions to maintain smooth operations.
Coordination with Vendors: Manage relationships with cleaning crews, maintenance teams, and vendors to ensure timely service and property upkeep.
Process Optimization: Assist in refining operational processes, standardizing procedures, and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency.
Quality Control: Conduct regular audits of listings, guest feedback, and property conditions to maintain meticulous standards across all properties.
Key Qualities & Skills:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of solid experience in short-term rental (STR) operations (DEAL BREAKER)
Quick Learner: Able to adapt quickly to changing procedures, tools, and technologies.
Passion for STR & Hospitality: Enthusiasm for creating outstanding guest experiences.
Resourcefulness & Problem-Solving: Creative and adept at finding solutions independently.
Exceptional Communication: Clear, professional communication skills with guests, tea m me mbers, and vendors.
Decision-Making & Initiative: Confident in making informed decisions and taking action when needed.
Critical & Analytical Thinking: Able to evaluate situations critically to identify the best approach.
