The PR ASSOCIATE is tasked to assist the PR Manager in coordinating with clients, media partners, internal stakeholders and 3rd party agencies and suppliers, as well as lead the execution of PR related events.
The role stays up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices and is able to identify new opportunities and strategies for improving overall performance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.) CLIENT COORDINATION
- Assist PR Manager in coordinating with clients and understanding their objectives and expectations
2.) PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Assist PR Manager in managing PR projects and campaigns
- Work closely with 3rd party agencies and suppliers to ensure the timely and successful execution of client deliverables
- Help oversee project timelines, set deadlines, and monitor progress to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Help create actual presentation of strategy and plans
3.) MEDIA RELATIONS
- Assist in media relations efforts by helping to identify media opportunities, pitching stories to journalists, and coordinating media interviews or press events
- Help invite media to events and ensure attendance and coverage
4.) REPORTING AND ANALYTICS
- Help prepare reports and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of PR campaigns and
- initiatives
- Help track media coverage, monitor key metrics, and provide performance reports to clients (including results of influencer collabs and execution)
5.) EVENTS MANAGEMENT
- Manage event preparations and ensure excellent and seamless execution
- Track expenses, review vendor contracts, and negotiate pricing when necessary
6.) INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging PR best practices
- Attend events, conferences, and workshops to expand their knowledge and stay ahead of industry changes
We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Is knowledgeable about crafting key messages, creating PR presentations and writing press releases
- Is Effective in managing clients, internal stakeholders and 3rd party agencies
- Is Experienced in project management and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Has Effective negotiation skills and resource management.
- Has Planning and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Has a reputation for trust and reliability with a strong track record of delivering results.
- Is passionate about creating best practice PR plans and execution and enjoys working and collaborating with a high-performing team to make this happen
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in management, communications, marketing and/or other related courses
- At least 2 years of experience as an accounts executive or manager in a creative, digital, PR or events agency or a proven track record in a similar position, working with a team in a similar or adjacent industry.
- Experience in client relations, team management, project management, event execution
- Experience in writing, creating presentations.
- Proven success in brand launches or activities, project management or events execution
*While NuWorks is working remotely, there will be days that the Account Manager will be required to join face-to-face meetings in the office for meetings, presentation alignments, trainings and join F2F client presentations.
