Primary Responsibilities:
- Process open enrollment activities for accounts, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all tasks.
- Review individual add, term, or change requests received through benefit applications, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Thoroughly review each task to minimize errors and mitigate the risk of Errors and Omissions (E & O)
- Process new hire and termination requests during the open enrollment period, ensuring timely and accurate updates to employee benefits.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external carriers to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to benefits processing.
- Maintain proficiency in accessing carrier portals and utilize them effectively to process benefits-related tasks.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in benefits regulations to ensure compliance and provide accurate information to employees.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external carriers to address any quality-related concerns or issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to share best practices and continuously improve the quality of work.
- Adhere to strict deadlines and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and suggest innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external carriers to address any quality-related concerns or issues promptly.
Skills and Competencies:
- Candidate should be any Graduate or a Post Graduate (Non-technical)
- Graduate of any 4 year course including Finance, Insurance, Accounting, Management, or Healthcare are preferred.
- Excellent command over English (comprehension and written).
- Good academic record (50% or above).
- Basic knowledge in insurance or finance
- Open to rotational shifts.
- Ability to work in a team and exhibit collaboration.
- Should be able to adapt to organizational changes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word).
- The candidate has to be a quick learner, high on energy and must have a flair for customer processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance and business administration (BSBA)
- Insurance Certification is an advantage
- 1-2 years experience in insurance domain/industry
